St. John Preserve

38 Haversham Road, Westerly (2.38 acres)

The St. John Preserve is comprised of 2.5 acres of mixed Oak and Maple forest with scattered Eastern Red Cedars. White-tailed deer traverse this precious wooded parcel in WFC’s Haversham greenway, made up of four protected parcels.  Given the available habitat, the St. John Property is used by a mix of resident and common migratory birds, and a variety of small and medium-sized mammals. St. John’s Preserve has approximately 220 feet of frontage on a public road and provides scenic value in the neighborhood given its natural and undeveloped state and historic stone walls.
