F.T. Patton Property

On the barrier beach, Charlestown (2 1/2 acres)

The secluded F.T. Paton Property conservation area, accessible only via a sand trail, is comprised of two acres of undeveloped barrier beach separating Block Island Sound from Quonochontaug Pond. The preserve consists of coastal shrub, dune and marsh habitats. Herring Gull and Song Sparrow are oft observed in this airy seaboard. The F.T. Paton preserve will be retained forever in its unadulterated natural state, in accordance with the mission of WFC.
